How do I sign up for Esbjerg City Half?

Registration is done online at The registration opens the 15th of December 2016. If there is any race numbers left registration is also possible at our expo in the days before the run.


What is the price?

DKK 350,-. From the 1st of February 2017 the price rises to DKK 399,-.


What is included in the price?

All participants receive food in the end zone and a fine medal.


Is there a limited number of participants?

At the present moment there is no upper limit on the number of participants.


Where and when will the race start?

The race starts at Blue Water Dokken, Gl. Vardevej 82, 6700 Esbjerg, the 25th of June 2017, 11 AM.


How is the race start arranged?

The start of Esbjerg City Half is arranged as a collectively rolling start. This means that the race starts at the starting signal after which first the seeded elite and then the remaining participants will cross the starting line. 

All participants are assigned a race group in advance in accordance with the expected finish time. You can change your expected finish time and with it the race group on your online registration profile before June 1st.


Can everyone participate?

Every healthy and well person who can complete the whole distance without help can participate.


Can I be placed in the elite field?

The elite field is seeded with an A and a B group. To be placed in the elite field you must fulfill the existing time demands. Find more information here.


Which information do you need at registration?

You must provide name, e-mail, sex, nationality, birth date, expected finish time at registration.


Can I register several runners all at once?

Yes, it is possible to add more runners at the same time at an ordinary registration. You must be able to provide the persons' names, e-mails, birth dates, sexes, nationalities and expected finish times.


How can I pay?

Is is possible to pay by Dankort, VISA/Dankort, VISA, Euro Mastercard, Visa Election, Diners Club, MobilePay Online and Maestro (be aware that fees may vary).

At group registrations/company deals (incl. registration through DAF-clubs) it is furthermore possible to pay by invoice (CVR number is required) while public companies can pay by EAN invoice.


Can I cancel my purchase?

Referring to the consumer protection regulations regarding online trade the organisers have the full product liability. The participant (the buyer) has cf. the consumer protection regulations regarding online trade no right to cancellation because recreational leisure activities are not included in the agreement.

It is possible to transfer your race number to another person.


Do I receive a confirmation on my registration?

Every person that registers will receive a receipt on e-mail. If you do not receive any receipt it may be because it has landed in your spam filter or that you have stated the wrong email at registration. If this is the case you can contact


How can I correct my information after registration?

If your personal data changes after you have registered you must log in to your profile on with the login information you have received on e-amil. It is your responsibility that all information is updated at any time. It is especially important that we have the correct e-mail address registered as all participation information is send on e-mail. If you wish to receive important information - like your race number - send as a text message you must also state your mobile phone number.

If you have any problems with updating your information you are welcome to contact customer service. Remember to state the order number when at contact.


Can I have my name on my race number?

Everyone who register at June 1st at latest will automatically have their first name on the race number.


I am prevented from participating and would like to transfer my race number to someone else. Can I do that?

It is possible to transfer your race number. You just need to log on to your profile on Here you can change the name on the runner in question.


How do I pick up my race number?

Your race number must be picked up at our Expo the June 24th and 25th in Blue Water Dokken. You must show ID to receive your race number.


How do I get my participant T-shirt?

If you have ordered a T-shirt it can be picked up when you pick up your race number.


Can I participate in wheelchair or with a baby jogger?

Blind and physically disabled people can participate in consideration of the other runners. People with special aids will start in the last group by default.


Who is organising Esbjerg City Half?

Esbjerg City Half is organised by Sport & Event Park Esbjerg and Esbjerg Atletik & Motion in partnership with Esbjerg Kommune and Esbjerg City.
